Rochfortbridge Alliance
All roads led to Rochfortbridge last Sunday for the 4th of the 5 County Board Winter Alliances. The morning started off perfect for Pitch and Putt but unfortunately as the hours passed, the rain came in and with it a chill in the air. In the end it was an endurance test and the winners certainly deserved their prizes for beating the conditions.
Collinstown only had one winner this week. Maurice Middleton for the second week in a row won the nett prize with Lough Owel’s Declan Penrose with a score of 67. There was plenty of representation from the Collinstown club but unfortunately we had no other prize winners.
The next alliance is on Sunday next, 16th March in Custume. Tee-off is at 11.00am sharp with registration closing at 10.45am.
