PRO’s Weekly Report – 19th May 2014
WESTMEATH STROKEPLAY CHAMPIONSHIPS.
On Sun next the25th Collinstown will host the above event. The draw has been made and a timesheet will be in operation. They can be viewed on the website. This is also a trial for the Gents inter county team. We wish all our members competing all the best in same.
PLAYER OF THE YEAR.
On Weds. next the 21st Week 3 of the above competition takes place.
CLUB DOUBLES.
The closing date for the first round matches in the above competition is Friday next the 23rd. There will be no exceptions.
JUVENILE MATTERS.
The Juvenile competition continues on Friday evenings at 5pm. Thanks to Liam and Michael Buckley for their work with the Juveniles.
OPEN STROKEPLAY.
Our Open Strokeplay will take place from Friday 6th till Sun 8th June. More details next week.
CONGRATULATIONS.
Congratulations to Alan Hanlon who came 3rd in the Irish Open in Glenville on Sat/Sun last the 10th & 11th May.
Congratulations are also in order for Gary Middleton who is playing great stuff this season and won the Intermediate prize at the Kilbeggan Scratch Cup on Sun. last the 11th.
