PRO’s Weekly Report – 14th October 2013
TURKEY COMPETITION.
We held the first of the above competitions on Sunday last the 13th and what a lovely autumnal day it was. The turnout was disappointing to say the least. We had eleven people who took part. It was a 2 persons scramble and the winner with a phenomenal score was Kevin Flanagan, who was hitting 2 balls. He had a 46 & 47 gross with a handicap of 12 in each round. Follow that. There will be another one on Sunday next the 20th with a 12. 30 start and hopefully there will be a few more in attendance.
AN POST.
The above group held their annual outing on our course on Sat last the 12th. This is their 6th year to hold same. There were 22 members who played. They had a very enjoyable day . They play for the Eamon Boyle Memorial cup and as far as I know Alan Rickard won same for the 3rd year in a row. They were magnanimous in their praise for the course and for the club. Thanks to Ena & Mary who did the catering for same.
INTER CLUB SEMI FINALS & FINAL.
Congratulations to the Collinstown team who have made it through to the semi – finals of the above competition. These take place in Bruff, Co. Limerick on the October Bank Holiday weekend and we wish them the best of luck.
PLAYER OF THE YEAR & COMMITTEES PRIZES S. F. AND FINAL.
The Semi finals & final of the above competition has now been rescheduled for Sunday 3rd November at 10 am. There will be no exceptions made to that date as it has been changed twice already.

Our AGM has been scheduled for Monday evening the 4th November at 7. 30 pm. in the clubhouse and all members are encouraged to attend same as it is very important that each member has their say in the running of the club.
